Natural Cork and Bamboo Flooring

Environmentally friendly or “green” living is gaining popularity each month. As the planet’s natural resources diminish and disappear, “green” options to consume less fossil fuel to manufacture and are often recycled or recyclable materials. Today, cork and bamboo are the two most common options available ecological levels.

Cork

Bamboo is another option green floor. Whether solid, all built of bamboo and bamboo mixed with layers of plywood, bamboo is renewable, flexible and environmentally friendly.

If bamboo is mature, which provides greater resistance to water and moisture, but is not, of course, totally waterproof. Precautions must be taken to clean up spills immediately and avoid areas of high humidity, such as porches, laundry rooms and bathrooms. If exposed for long periods or frequently to moisture, bamboo can crack or buckle.

Bamboo is easy to stain in wood grains and natural colors, bamboo called direct print, before pressing together, providing green floor to any decor. Bamboo materials and direct printing are harder than regular bamboo carbonized, which boil until the sugar tank, which gives a dark natural color of bamboo.

This natural source also offers a variety of installation options model. checkerboard patterns, diagonal or straight lines can create a unique and appearances. A flexible material, however, protect the soil from heavy bamboo furniture and high heels for their durability and quality.

With proper care by moisture, bamboo can last longer than many hardwood floors, simply because it is flexible. cracks and splinters more easily than the curvature of bamboo, and each point of impact in the wood can leave a permanent squeeze much more easily than in the bamboo.
